  • The RAIB has issued a report into the derailment of a passenger train at Grange-over-Sands, Cumbria. The point of derailment was on ELR CBC1 at 9M 0068y.
  • The RAIB is investigating a collision between passenger trains near Talerddig, Powys. This collision was on ELR SBA2, in the vicinity of the passing loop between 61M 0273y and 61M 0769y. A factor in this collision is wheel / rail adhesion, possibly influenced by the railway’s elevation profile.
